The Estate - Sustainable development
Château Les Oliviers de Salettes is at the centre of a 31 ha property reserved for its guests. The parks of the Château and the Bastide offer vast lawns with century-old trees, two vegetable gardens, playgrounds and its majestic alley of plane trees under which it is pleasant to walk or simply rest in the summer.
Signposted hiking/jogging trails have been laid out through woods, our lavender fields and of course our vineyard. They sometimes run along a river or a wild pond... The Estate is home to several protected species of local flora or fauna.
The terraces of the Château and its infinity pool offer a 180 degree panorama over the landscapes of the Drôme Provençale, the cliffs of Eyzahut and the Southern Prealps. A second swimming pool is dedicated to families near the Bastide. Both pools are heated. The Château pool is usually heated from Easter to the end of October, during our 'Indian summer'.
The Château is located 1 km from the village of Charols at the end of a country road lined with Florence cypresses. Calm is king here. Only the song of the cicadas comes to disturb this silence in summer.
From its conception, our hotel-restaurant & spa has been fully committed to sustainable development and respect for the planet. Discover some examples of our actions in the document below…
